The process of fulfilment of the shared and participatory management’ organisations needs a continuous dedication of time and energy from all people who work in the companies and for the companies.
At the bottom of the shared and participatory management’ organisations there are people, their motivation, their abilities to create and develop lasting relationships of trust.
It is necessary to have a systemic approach to change the people’s behaviours deeply embedded in traditional culture: it is not sufficient to act only on one side: the companies’ organisational model, or the operative processes or the communication. Social parts and particularly trade unions can play a relevant role in order to make these changes more effective and faster.
The access to relevant information for making decision is a fundamental requirement in order to create shared and participatory management’ companies. New technologies can produce, if well managed, a relevant contribution for the fulfilment of shared and participatory management’ companies. Therefore Industry 4.0 represents an opportunity and a factor of acceleration to the changes when new technologies integrate business competitivity, improvement of the work conditions, and job quality.
